Welcome to Avalon, the land of sunrise. Here is a utopia of sorts where crimes have been eradicated, differences cast aside, and perfection born. At least, that’s what it was made to be. But corrupt Government officials have changed all that. The superpeople, the specials, were once accepted; now brainwashed, the people hate us. The Government is afraid of us. Why? Well, without fear or balance or knowledge of all things, or there will be no ultimate safety – in the Government’s eyes.
They want to capture us, subdue us, study us like insects and disgraces to the human race. The Government detests us. On the news they say the words pures and half-bloods and specials with disgust and make crude jokes about us. They promote the idea of violence against us to the schoolchildren and people, and in doing so they have destroyed their own peaceful little nation. The Government says it’s our fault the world nearly ended, but then it’s not our fault what our past generations have done.
The Government hunts us down like criminals, using their mercenaries under the ruthless command of Renata, head of cloak-and-dagger Sentries and Scouts. So we meet in the ruins, the Wastelands. Until the Beckon arrived. She brought us all together and prepares us for the battle ahead to overthrow the Government, heal the people, and rebuild this twisted world. It won’t be easy. This is a journey of certain death and new life. Are you willing to take the challenge?
